For Desk-Based Professionals

Your job is the injury.
Let's fix the cause, not just the ache.

Hours at a screen load the same few joints in the same few ways. We assess the actual pattern behind your neck, shoulder, or lower back pain — then build a plan around your real schedule, over video.

TENSION POINT — NECK / UPPER TRAP
The Problem

The pain shows up at 4pm. The cause started at 9am.

Desk-based neck, shoulder, and lower back pain is rarely about one bad moment — it's about sustained, repetitive load in a fixed position, hour after hour. The fix isn't just stretching at your desk; it's understanding your specific load pattern and building strength and mobility around it.

Symptoms we hear most

  • Tight, aching neck and upper traps by mid-afternoon
  • Shoulder pain that flares after long meetings or screen time
  • Lower back stiffness standing up from your desk
  • Headaches that start at the base of the skull
  • Pain that's worse on long video-call days, eases at weekends

Who this is for

  • Office-based professionals in finance, law, media, or tech
  • Anyone doing 6+ hours of screen time most days
  • People who've tried generic stretches without lasting relief
  • Hybrid workers whose pain tracks with office days vs. home days

Pricing

Most desk-pain clients start with a single Initial Consultation.

A 60-minute assessment and first-stage plan is usually enough to know exactly what's going on. Ongoing follow-ups are booked only if you need them.

FAQ

Questions from desk-based clients.

Do you treat patients working in Canary Wharf or the City of London?

Yes — sessions are over video, so it doesn't matter whether you're based in the City of London, Canary Wharf, Clerkenwell, or anywhere else in the UK.

I already stretch at my desk. Why hasn't it helped?

Generic stretching often misses the specific joint or muscle group under the most load for your particular posture and habits. An assessment identifies your actual pattern, not a generic one.

Can you assess my workstation set-up?

Yes, as part of the assessment we'll talk through your desk set-up, chair, screen height, and daily habits alongside the physical movement screen.

How many sessions will I need?

Many desk-pain clients see meaningful change from a single Initial Consultation plus one or two follow-ups. We won't book more sessions than you need.
