Meet Your Physiotherapist

Dr. Kritiyesh Mohan

Dr. Mohan is a Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered physiotherapist and the Head Physiotherapist for NBA Academy India, where he leads rehabilitation and return-to-play programming for some of India's most closely monitored young athletes — work that leaves no room for guesswork, and benchmarks every decision against measured data.

He's also the founder of The Sports Rehab, a sports rehabilitation and high-performance training centre in Noida, India. The Sports Rehab UK runs on the same principle: keep clinical recovery and performance training clearly separate, and measure everything with dynamometry-led testing rather than impression.

The Sports Rehab UK currently operates as an online-only consultation service. Sessions provide guidance and programming, not a substitute for in-person diagnosis, emergency care, or hands-on manual therapy.

FAQ

Questions worth asking before you book.

Is online physiotherapy the same as seeing someone in person?

Online sessions cover assessment, diagnosis discussion, and programming over video — they don't include hands-on manual therapy. For most rehab and performance goals, that's where the real work happens anyway: in the exercise programme and how it's progressed.

Do I need a GP referral?

No referral is needed to book an online consultation. If your assessment suggests you need in-person investigation or treatment, you'll be told clearly and pointed toward the right next step.

Which track is right for me — Clinical or Performance?

If you're dealing with pain, injury, or recovering from surgery, start with the Clinical Rehab Track. If you're already moving well and want structured training, testing, and benchmarking, the Performance Track is the fit. Not sure? Say so when you book.

Do you see patients outside the UK?

The UK is our primary focus right now. If you're elsewhere and interested, get in touch — we'll let you know honestly whether we can help given local regulations.

Is this covered by insurance?

Coverage for online consultations varies by insurer and policy. We'd recommend checking directly with your provider before booking if you're hoping to claim — we're happy to provide a receipt either way.

What's the difference between a single session and a programme?

Programmes bundle a set number of sessions over a fixed timeframe at a lower per-session rate, with continuity built in — the same clinician tracking your progress throughout, rather than booking one-offs as needed.
